24/00626/TN | Wolverhampton | Small | Undecided | Trees | There is a large tree growing out of a hedge located in the very rear corner of the neighbouring property to our house. Given the location of the tree, though its trunk stands on the edge of the neighbouring property (number 18) the majority of the tree is over our (number 20) garden and very little of it sits over number 18. The tree is very large and completely blocks our view to the rear of our property. It blocks sunlight throughout the day and we cannot utilise the area of the garden it stands above because it is constantly covered in bird droppings which we worry is toxic to ourselves and our animals. Our preference is for the tree to be completely removed as it has grown so much over the years out of a hedge and into our garden due to poor maintenance of the hedge. However, should this not be possible, we would at least like to cut back the areas of the tree that stand over our garden. Though this is unlikely to solve our sun and view blocking issues and will likely result in the tree looking unsightly, it will at least allow us to use the areas of the garden it stands over. The tree is not covered by a TPO, it is simply an overgrown tree that is growing out of a neighbouring hedge that has not been maintained. | 18 Church Hill Road Wolverhampton West Midlands WV6 9AT | 20/06/2011 | Link | ||||
