What is Landcycle? Landcycle is a planning and property tool. You can use it for many things such as finding a suitable property to re-develop, getting estimates for a house or parcel of land you interested in buying, seeing if that property is in any danger of being flooded or at risk from coastal erosion in the future or has a high radon gas risk level.
You can also use it to get a better understand of property development overall. Why has the local council given permission for one tract of land to be developed over another? What company is holding land that might be developed, or is blocking access to a parcel of land that might be developed?
How can you offer your services so cheaply? Landcycle.com is a newcomer to the market with a "pay to play" model, we charge a small fee for each and every action that we ourselves have to pay a third-party for and we offer premium subscriptions for more valuable data. This allows us to offer services at a lower cost while maintaining profitability.
Can I create more than one account? No, we do not recommend multiple accounts per user. Each user is intended to have a single account associated with their mobile number and email. If you need to manage separate data for work and personal use or for multiple clients, we recommend creating a new Organisation or more Organisations within your existing account. This allows you to keep your personal and business information separate while managing them efficiently within the same account. Organisations can have multiple members, but they will share access to everything except the billing and ownership details which is solely managed by the Organisation Owner.
Do I need a mobile phone to use Landcycle? Yes, we use one-time-password OTP messages for login and since the data we supply (from Land Registry, Ordnance Survey and others) is valuable, this helps to avoid theft.
I'm worried I'll use the system and Landcycle will send me a bill for usage? Accounts at landcycle.com are "pre-pay" so you'll never receive an unexpected bill or for usage in the past that would be owed. Simply "top up" your account with money you are prepared to spend.
What happens when I delete my account? Once an account is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems in compliance with GDPR regulations and tax accounting law. However, to prevent misuse, certain details, such as phone numbers, may be retained for an extended period as part of our fraud prevention measures. This helps protect the integrity of our services and ensures fair use of valuable third-party data provided by our partners. Our data retention policies remain fully compliant with legal and security requirements.

Do you display HMO (Houses in Multiple Occupation) properties on the map? No, not yet. But it's something our users have been asking for, and it's in the pipeline. Sign up and you'll get an email when this happens.
How do I get a refund? If you've topped up your account and for whatever reason need a refund, just contact us within 30 days of your payment and we'll arrange a refund (subject to a 5% fee - as our payment processor doesn't refund all the money to us).
Is my data private? Land Software Ltd operates independently and does not share client information with any company or any other entity. Customer data held securely and protected.
How do I contact you? We're available anytime via email. Please see the Contact Us page for more details.
