Database

Landcycle allows every user to create their own secure property database which is the area that sites and plots are created and stored.

The Database is a list of Plots (these are addresses or tracts of land that correspond to Land Registry titles) which you can select and save to your Database.

The Use Case for this feature is up to you. For a property developer it can be used to maintain a list of suitable sites where it is economic to purchase for development, or for a landlord to maintain a list of their properties.

Plots are created by clicking on the land registry map page and then choosing to add a property to your database. You can choose to purchase the Land Registry Title before you create the plot and the register itself will be added to your plot. Contacts will automatically populated from the title register including ownership and contact details.

The plot is automatically populated with planning constraints and you can also drag in your own documents or photographs, create plot notes and also automatically send letters to plot owners. Plots can have automatic monitoring of the Land Registry Title and property planning application alerts.

The most popular feature is you can create your own workflow and workflow tasks from within the plot database overview page to show if a plot needs contacting, needs further action, a deal is agreed or dead. The best bit is that you can share your database and mapped plots with other people by adding them to your organisation within the system settings. This allows your chosen colleagues the ability to access your database and add to it. This is an ideal feature for remote working or sharing tasks amounts a team.
