The much loved natural shape of the tree is intended to be maintained. Inspect any areas of stress, fungal growth and cracking. The proposed works are intended to reduce wind drag, reduce the likelihood of any further shedding of significant limbs and improve the health and aesthetic appearance of the tree. 2: Horse-chestnut,to carry out:- selective reduction of a fork of branches on the northwestern part of the tree. This to include removal of one of three branches at the fork and reduction of a limb that grows out from an earlier point on the 'parent limb' by 2-3 metres. 20% thin of the canopy overall to reduce dense internal growth. 15% canopy reduction. The much loved natural shape of the tree is intended to be maintained. Inspect any areas of stress, fungal growth and cracking. The proposed works are intended to reduce wind drag and reduce the likelihood of any further shedding of significant limbs. The overall aim is to improve the health and aesthetic appearance of the tree. Monterey cypress, to carry out works to:- selectively reduce a branch to the south by 2-3m and two branches to the north. All three of these emanate from low points on the tree's main trunk. Inspect any areas of stress, fungal growth and cracking. The selective reduction of limbs are to help to prevent them from breaking as previous ones have done. 4.Apple tree,to carry out:- complete removal of tree and stump, although the latter may be retained for artistic purposes. The replanting of the tree with a fruit tree such as a pear or apple.
