There are two multi-stemmed White Willows growing in close proximity and both form a single contiguous canopy. The tree closest to the adjoining property is physiologically declining, as can be seen in the photographs. Both trees regularly shed branch material and we would be wary of retaining the better condition tree given the increased exposure. As such, we intend to remove both trees due to the declining condition and to create space, in time, to plant a tree of an alternative species.
Single tree to be cut down and the stump removed. Tree is a low quality Leylandii tree causing damage to adjacent path and steps. The continued growth of the tree presents a real risk to the listed building due to subsidence. If the tree remains it could have a negative impact on the cottage. Tree currently blocking light also making the internal accomodation dark.

We have a large yew tree in a small garden. The tree was here when we moved in in 2003, and was at that time a much smaller beast. It now dominates and overshadows both our garden and adversely affects the garden next door (our neighbour has complained several times over the last few years). We wish to cut it back to 2 metres in height, allow fresh growth from the base and keep it pruned and shaped henceforth to a proportionate size.
Tree is in the garden on the seaward side of the property. The tree is a self seeded sycamore tree. I would like to remove the tree entirely, as if it grows bigger it could undermine the bank causing subsidence which may affect the property, as per surveyors comments.

Ash (595) - heavily declining with Ash Dieback Disease evident and affecting approx. 50% of the crown. The tree is leaning away from the village hall boundary towards the common. Pollard the tree at a height of 2m.
1st stages of a long term program of work. Fell Willow Tree - identified in Photo 1, Google Map, Site Sketch Plan as Large Willow Tree 1. Pruning/crown thinning - rest of the group of trees (Crack Willows) to undergo a pruning/crown thinning operation. Note Photo 2 sugns of fungal growth on Willow. Long term - establish a more suitable row of trees by planting mixed species in parrallel.

Would like to cut back sycamore (T1) to allow it to coppice into a hedge we are forming along fence line with neighbours. Poor condition. It would cause shade to house solar panels. Also to remove poplar (T2) as this will grow very tall and is where there are overhead wires.

T001 - fell to ground - dead, large branch recently fell in high winds. T028 Cedar - fell to ground - very close to house, branches causing damage in high winds. G009 - privet shrub - remove, blocking new parking area entrance. T031 - crown lift - lower branches hitting house in high winds and causing damage.
Request to fell ash tree with die back, sited close to actual residence. The canopy is overhanging one corner of the dwelling creating a hazard and potential for structural damage. Similar concern regarding roots. I have consulted an arborist who has seen the tree and would support the above findings.

T2811 Copper Beech - fell - tree roots infected with honey fungus visible at base and canopy die back. Tree is close to road and properties. T2812 Beech - fell - visible evidence of brittle cinder fungus leading to tree instability. Tree is adjacent to road and properties. T2814 Beech - fell - visible adaptive growth suggesting internal decay, visible fruiting bodies. Tree is adjacent to road and properties. T2816 Beech - fell - substantial brittle cinder fungus. Little visual impact of tree removal. T2802 and T2804 Turkey Oak - removal of dead branches and areas of tip dieback - crown lift to 5.5m above road. T2851 Bay - crown reduction by 1-2 metres to reduce weight on stem - large, multi stemmed tree shows fruiting bodies and associated canopy decline. T2848 Cider Gum - fell - poorly developing tree of little value, poorly located and impacting on other trees. T2843 New Zealand Cabbage - fell - species out of place and inappropriate to surrounding area.

Oak (T1) - proposed removal of small oak tree. Its present position is between one of our outbuildings and the fence between us and our neighbours at Cashel. There has been insufficient space/light for it to grow properly and has grown leaning across the fence and over our neighbours stable/outbuilding. There is a large hole developing at the base of the tree and one of the limbs is dead. We are concerned that rot will develop and eventually cause the tree to come down in bad weather. We are proposing to plant two new oak trees on the boundary in our paddock (see sketch plan) as there is more space/light for them to develop fully.

T2 Cedar of the MWA Arboricultural Report Works: Remove (fell) to near ground level and treat stump to inhibit regrowth. T3 Birch of the MWA Arboricultural Report Works: Remove (fell) to near ground level and treat stump to inhibit regrowth. Reason: Clay shrinkage subsidence damage at the property.

Removal of 3No. Leylandii trees from garden to south of property. The roots from these trees have been highlighted in a recent structural survey as potentially contributing to movement/subsidence of the property. The area occupied by these trees would be used to form a wildlife pond with a variety of species being replanted to provide more manageable screening.

Removal of sycamore branches overhanging pavement & highway external to boundary. Removal of upper branches of leylandii tree to provide clearance around telephone cable. Works to be completed by tree surgeon.

The Fagus sylvatica(T1) will be repollarded to British standards 3998:2010. Carrying out these works will help gain clearance from adjacent properties and reduce the risk of potential damage from week unions that could potentially tear out from the crown. The Malus domestica(T2) will be reduced by 30% to British standards 3998:2010. This work is being carried out to provide clearance from the adjacent properties and adjacent gardens. Another reason this work is being carried out, is because one branch has already failed and collapsed into the neighbouring garden. This work will reduce the hazards and potential problems this tree could cause to buildings. All waste will be chipped and disposed of in accordance with British standards 2998:2010. Please see sketch map/for exact location of these trees in the garden.

Removal/felling of 5 Leylandii trees, T1,T2,T3,T5 and T5 on attached plan. The trees are large, overhanging the road and rocking in the wind which has cause the dry stone wall to collapse. There is also an oak tree in the garden which will remain, no work is proposed on this. I have contacted Whitby Tree Surgery, who have looked at the proposed work.
Nothofagus - (tree D on plan) - previously topped, and poor form, small area of bark killing at base Birch (E) Fell - dieback in crown and honey fungus bark killing at base Ash (A) - crown reduce by 2m Cypress (B) - crown reduce or remove Ash (F) - crown reduce by up to 2m Beech (C) - crown reduce by up to 2m Birch x 2 (G & H) - crown reduce by up to 2m
