The canopy is heavier on the side of our house so would fall towards the house in a high wind. The trunk is very tall with few branches before the canopy which hangs over the garden. We are gradually loosing more branches from the canopy that drop into the garden in high winds. The canopy shades the small garden so the grass doesn't grow well which is a shame with a family. With the shade in the garden the lawn doesn't dry well or quickly after rain. The amount of pine needles and pine cones that fall ruin the lawnmower and are constantly needing to be picked up and collected by me. The pine needles collect in guttering and drains.
