Fell the tree in the middle, at the back of the garden (does not have a TPO). Tidy up the lower branches on the TPO tree nearest the patio doors. This work is required as one TPO tree has had to be removed after storm damage snapped the top of the TPO in the middle of this very small garden with 5 huge trees in it. I am very concerned about the liability I have with these trees and my concern for the safety of the residents both in my house and my surrounding neighbours. Excessive shading is a problem. Faeces/excrement from the birds in the trees causes damage to anything in the garden (ie, trampolines, childrens bikes, ride on cars, patio furniture etc. The pine needles drop constantly on the patio, grasses and borders. Encouraging anything else to grow in this garden is very difficult and the trees cause shade and pine needles damage anything else that grows. The gutters are constantly blocked with pine needle and cause dampness in the house. The pine needles blow over the roof and fall on the cars parked on the driveway (causing damage to the paintwork). The pine needs fall into the gap in the car's bonnet. They also get stuck in the windscreen wipers. The driveway and patio areas are constantly covered in pine needles. I am currently letting this property but did live there for 5 years and had to take my young children to the doctors on several occasions to have pine needles removed from the bottom of their feet. The has stood on these and the pine needle had snapped off and stuck in their feet. This was even if they wore sandles.
